Solar luminaires

The market for solar luminiares is developing dynamically and is becoming increasingly important. Solar luminiares are particularly in demand in places where civil engineering work and cable laying would involve high costs. We have been manufacturing the professional SUNNY and SOLVEIG models for several years, ensuring greater safety on roads, cycle paths, in residential areas, at bus stops and in public places.

Reliable
The 6.90m high luminaire with its solid 170mm pole diameter can withstand any storm. The efficient, steep solar panel with 310W peak can guarantee optimum running time even in the critical months of December and January thanks to its individual south-facing orientation and the intelligent solar controller. The two batteries fed by the solar cell are safely installed in the concrete foundation supplied to protect them from temperature fluctuations and are used particularly gently thanks to the intelligent load control.

Smart
The time at which the SUNNY solar luminaire switches on and off can be individually determined via the threshold value. This also enables the LED modules with approx. 1,400 lm in the ALFONS, LOUIS or ANDREW luminaires to be switched on. These are available in warm or neutral white and can also be dimmed at night. If the battery voltage falls below the set limit value, the illuminance is automatically and gradually reduced.

Extremely powerful
As an example, the running time of the solar luminaire should be shown in the worst case, if the average night is 16 hours and there is no possibility of charging the batteries during the day:

Without dimming 10 days 100% light output, 17 days 50% light output, 21 days 10% light output and on the 48th day, the light output is 0.
With dimming to 30% of the light output in 7 out of 16 hours, 15 days 100% light output, 20 days 50% light output, 21 days 10% light output and on the 56th day, the light output is 0.

Immediately functional
The supplied base allows the solar luminaire to be set up easily and used immediately from the first night.
