GRADING WITH STELLA
The graduation house in Bad Salzungen shines in a new light! There are around 30 historic graduation towers in Germany's spa towns. Salt, the white gold, has been traded for more than 2000 years as a seasoning, mineral supplier, preservative and means of payment. After the production by fire was too expensive and too dangerous, natural evaporation plants up to 500m long were built, in which the brine ran over the brushwood walls and the sun and wind carried the water away. When the salts were produced industrially, the graduation houses were used as brine sanatoriums for humans. In the Bad Salzungen graduation house in Thuringia, new lights were installed in the outdoor area. The 4.50m high STELLA columns were selected for this purpose. The partially satinized cylinder in the upper section provides glare-free, atmospheric light in the hours of darkness to make grading in the monument a special experience. The integrated spotlights in the lower clear cylinder round off the lighting concept and skillfully highlight special details. STELLA bollards with the same design were installed on the park-like paths. This makes it a pleasure to take relaxing walks by day and night while inhaling the healthy air.
