LONG LASTING PETRA
The appearance of the Olympic Stadium, designed by Werner March in 1936, was retained even after the listed building was renovated in 2000. The area, designed as a total work of art, includes the visual axes to the PETRA light steles in the outdoor area. The eye is constantly drawn to the stadium. The free space gives room to breathe, as all functional and access structures were built underground. The round body of the PETRA stele, made of hot-dip galvanized steel, takes on the shape of the stadium. The satin cylinder creates the perfect light for the parking lot at major events. The highlight in landscaping: The numerous PETRA light steles have different lengths depending on the height of the location, so that visually all the light steles appear to be the same length to the visitor. From Tuesday LEIPZIGER LEUCHTEN will also be present in Berlin, not in the Olympic Stadium, but at MESSE belektro. Visit us in Berlin. PETRA IS SUSTAINABLE, STYLISH AND FUNCTIONAL – EVEN AFTER 22 YEARS.
