The KATHLEEN light column has been illuminating a pedestrian zone in Dresden for a few months now. Its soft, symmetrical light is ideal for large plazas, as KATHLEEN’s high horizontal illuminance allows faces to be recognized from afar. It has replaced previous light columns and brings renewed brilliance to the square. Near this square, Jorge Gomondai was tragically killed in a racist attack. This makes it all the more important to bring positive events back to the area and instill a sense of safety. Alongside the intercultural street festival, KATHLEEN contributes to this mission. LIGHT CREATES SAFETY Lighting is a key factor in fostering a sense of security. We are proud that KATHLEEN plays an important role in achieving just that.
