ALBRECHT AND ALFRED SHED LIGHT ON CASTLE CULTURE

Eichenzell near Fulda is home to Hesse's most beautiful baroque castle from the 18th century, which is open to visitors. Not far from the borders with Bavaria and Thuringia, the castle was annexed several times in the past, e.g. by Napoleon I, Electoral Hesse and Prussia. Today, the castle is owned by the family foundation from which the Landgraves, Electors and Grand Dukes of Hesse descended, the Hessian House Foundation. The castle reopens on Palm Sunday. Paving work is still underway outside, but the luminaires have already been renovated to make them more energy-efficient. ALBRECHT and ALFRED illuminate walls, poles and balustrades in their historic design. Throughout the summer, outdoor events can be enjoyed in the dark hours in pleasant warm white and DALI-controlled light. The historicist 6-sided ALBRECHT luminaires, made of cast aluminum, and the 4-sided ALFRED luminaires, welded from stainless steel, blend in perfectly with the baroque backdrop. The luminaire models and wall brackets were carefully selected depending on the installation location and differ depending on the type of building and inner courtyard. The LED modules used are efficient and protect against insects. The color green also underlines the closeness to nature and the proximity to the castle park. LOOKING FORWARD TO SUMMER WITH ALBRECHT AND ALFRED.
