TIMELESS DESIGN FOR HISTORIC ARCHITECTURE
Located in the Swiss canton of Aargau, close to the German border, the historic municipality of Endingen is home to a remarkable synagogue that remains an important cultural landmark, admired for its distinctive architecture. Complementing this historic building, our handcrafted ALFRED heritage luminaires provide elegant illumination for the entrance area. Combined with the hand-cast Z-A I ornamental poles made of sand-cast aluminium, they create a harmonious lighting concept that blends seamlessly into the historic surroundings while highlighting the unique character of the site. The luminaires combine classic design with future-ready technology. The distinctive decorative “mushroom” element on top of the luminaire not only defines its traditional appearance but can also be removed whenever required, revealing the standardized Zhaga socket beneath for future smart city applications. An additional Zhaga socket is integrated into the underside of the housing, ensuring the luminaire is fully prepared for future upgrades—without compromising its timeless design. A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HOW HERITAGE CONSERVATION, SOPHISTICATED DESIGN, AND MODERN LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY CAN WORK TOGETHER IN HARMONY.
