URBAN LIGHTING FOR A NEW RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT
Riedberg, the largest new development area in Frankfurt, has emerged in the city’s northwest. Located in southern Hesse, where Europe’s leading financial hub continues to grow, the BERGHÖFE residential district was completed in 2024. Eight contemporary courtyard ensembles are arranged around green spaces, playgrounds and communal areas. This carefully planned, car-free living environment fosters a village-like sense of community within the metropolis. To provide suitable lighting for the district, our SASKIA I DA and ALEX P III luminaires were used. The clean-lined SASKIA and the ALEX bollard blend seamlessly into the modern architectural setting and, with 2,000 lm and warm white light, create a pleasant atmosphere throughout the neighbourhood. A finely woven network of paths links the residential buildings with leisure areas and the surrounding environment. Along these paths, the ALEX P III bollard luminaire is used – both functionally and aesthetically aligned with the overall concept. A LIGHTING SOLUTION THAT CONNECTS URBAN MODERNITY AND PEOPLE.
