Modern student apartments were built in the Hanseatic city of Greifswald, which were entirely made of innovative wooden construction. The electricity required for the house is also sustainably generated via its own photovoltaic system. Heating and cooling takes place emission-free via geothermal probes. The idea of sustainability was consistently carried outside. There, the surrounding beautiful monument properties meet SOLVEIG, the smart solar light with a round bench and cell phone charging stations. SOLVEIG does not require any underground cables. Thanks to the decorative ANDREW light, the efficient, rotating solar panel, the controller integrated in the mast and the batteries well protected in the ground offer warm, soft solar light for the social gatherings of students in the dark hours. The twilight sensor and thunderstorm detection provide comfortable light at any time of day or night. With the Qi charging stations integrated into the table, students can charge their smartphones inductively. SOLVEIG – the independent communication island for living, learning and relaxing.
