GUSTAV PROVIDES ATMOSPHERIC LIGHTING FOR THE CULTURAL SITE OF KÖNIGSRUHE
Königsruhe in the Bode Valley, idyllically situated between Thale and the Hexentanzplatz, is a special place in Hirschgrund, in the Harz Nature Park in Saxony-Anhalt. Gut Königsruhe essentially consists of a traditional inn surrounded by legendary nature. Known as a popular destination for Walpurgis Night, around 10,000 guests come to this cult location to enjoy live music, a laser show and fireworks. In this culturally and historically significant and touristically frequented environment, the challenge was to integrate functional yet atmospheric lighting into the natural surroundings. GUSTAV I/R U LED, a decorative cylindrical luminaire with a clear, impact-resistant cover and a low-slung roof, was used. Thanks to its efficient LED driver and excellent heat management, GUSTAV is extremely low-maintenance and durable. Equipped with internal glare protection and a louvre reflector, the LED module ensures excellent facial recognition without glare. This makes GUSTAV ideal for squares and outdoor areas where a feeling of security needs to be enhanced. The soft light creates an atmospheric ambience and the self-sufficient dimming system also protects nature. SUBTLE DESIGN THAT BLENDS IN WITH HISTORIC LOCATIONS.
