RECORDING THE ARCHITECTURE IN THE LIGHTING WITH “DAHLIA VOLLACK”

Back in 1994, the owner-managed company Bauder opened a new factory in the town of Landsberg, in Saxony-Anhalt. In 2023, the plant was extensively redesigned and modernized. The 4th generation family business from Baden-Württemberg, which stands for particularly high-quality and safe roofs, paid particular attention to the outdoor lighting for the new factory. The architects’ ideas could be realized with the special “DAHLIA Vollack” lights from LEIPZIGER LEUCHTEN, which were placed in the entrance area. Like a roof, the three 1.50m long outriggers of the DAHLIA rise above the footpath to the reception hall. The square aluminum profile with a width of 200mm and an impressive height of 6.60m skillfully leads visitors to the entrance area. The boom with its diffuse, non-glaring light ensures very pleasant and efficient lighting. This means that the biodiversity of Bauder products is also reflected in the outdoor lighting. A special highlight of this light is the Bauder company's orange colors integrated into the mast, which set effective accents in the dark hours. For the footpaths on the factory premises, attention was paid to continuing the design and this was successfully implemented with the ALEX bollard light. When planning, a conscious decision was made to use dark sky-compliant lighting, as the downward radiation of the light can protect flora and fauna even in industrial locations. LIGHT IS MORE THAN JUST ILLUMINATION. DAHLIA SPEAKS CORPORATE LANGUAGE.
