HISTORY MEETS LIGHTING DESIGN
Wuhrplatz has always been considered the heart of Langenthal, Switzerland – a place of encounter, trade, and culture. Over the centuries, it has continually evolved, yet it has remained the central meeting point of the city to this day. We are therefore all the more pleased that we were able to enrich this special square with a contemporary lighting concept. With STELLA bollards at a height of 1.05 meters and elegant STELLA light columns at 4 meters, each in 3000K warm white and finished with a durable anti-graffiti coating, we were able to create a harmonious interplay of history and modernity. The result is convincing not only in terms of functionality but also in atmosphere. Both the city and the electric utility were delighted: we are proud that Wuhrplatz now shines in a new light – in step with the times yet true to its history. LIGHT DOES MORE THAN CREATE SAFETY – IT CREATES IDENTITY AND CONNECTS PAST WITH FUTURE.
