FEWER SPOTLIGHTS. LESS ENERGY. SAME IMPACT.

In the heart of Leipzig, Saxony, the lighting at the Augustusplatz tram stops has been modernized. The upgrade features high-performance FRIEDER LED spotlights from LEIPZIGER LEUCHTEN. This project demonstrates how modern LED technology and efficient lighting design can work together: 🔹 Before: 12 conventional spotlights with a total power consumption of approximately 1,500 W per tram stop shelter. 🔹 After: Just 4 FRIEDER LED spotlights with a total power consumption of approximately 500 W per tram stop shelter. The result: Around 67% less power consumption – with significantly fewer spotlights. Thanks to precise light distribution and advanced LED technology, the tram stop is illuminated to great effect. Fewer luminaires, lower energy consumption, and modern lighting for one of Leipzig’s most iconic squares. EFFICIENT LIGHTING STARTS WITH THE RIGHT LIGHTING SOLUTION.
