MIA – ATTRACTIVE IN GOTHIC SETTINGS
Built in the 12th century, St John's Church in Meissen-Cölln, Saxony, is a Protestant-Lutheran church with a long history and impressive architecture. With its Gothic elements and imposing tower, St John's Church is a popular destination for visitors and worshippers alike. The church regularly hosts services, concerts and other events that bring the community together. The church has been extensively renovated over the last 10 years. This also included renewing the lighting. The MIA luminaires were chosen for this. An elegant type of luminaire with warm white, indirect light that provides pleasant facial recognition and thus promotes communication between guests, even in the hours of darkness. Flora and fauna have also been taken into consideration. MIA protects life by ensuring that the unobtrusive, sensor-controlled lighting control system always provides the optimum amount of light. The light level is only raised when guests and visitors to the church are on the premises. If nobody is on site, the light remains dimmed. This gives trees, animals and insects the chance to experience the night in a natural environment. MIA PROVIDES HEALTHY AND SOFT LIGHT.
