Instead of wine, real Alsatian beer has a centuries-old tradition in Mutzig (Mützig) / France. A factory for the production of Mutzig beer was founded as early as 1810. The factory was built in the historicist style with elements of Tudor and late Gothic architecture and is reminiscent of a robber baron's castle. The last owner, Heineken, closed the brewery in 1989. The buildings are now a listed building and are operated and used by the city: as a business incubator, as well as the outbuildings for public administration, as a hotel and as apartments. When the buildings were repurposed, the lighting was also renewed. A discreet but functional luminaire was to be installed for the old brewery site. The KORA marketplace column was chosen. 6.50m high and equipped with three additional floodlights. Cameras were also installed. The 12 rotatable and tiltable spotlights integrated into the 300 x 300mm mast also set the scene for the façades in the hours of darkness. The KORA V pole-mounted luminaire with square pole and large Plexiglas panel and the square KORA P bollard luminaire with decorative grille were selected for the paths to the adjoining apartments.
