DORIS MAKES PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS SAFE

At pedestrian crossings, all road users must pay close attention, as there is an increased risk of collision in this area. Pedestrian crossings must therefore also be illuminated at night. If the lighting fails in the dark hours or does not comply with standards and an accident occurs, the company is liable Municipality or the operator. In order for the lighting to meet the requirements, pedestrians from both directions must be recognized early and clearly. This requires high illuminance in combination with high-contrast light. The DORIS pedestrian crossing light meets all requirements and offers an easy-to-install solution. The sides facing the street, equipped with the VZ 350 traffic sign, are backlit at night with 4,000K and can be seen from afar. An additional downward light source provides the required vertical illumination without dazzling drivers. Here in Neuruppin, the street lighting is in 3,000K warm white, while the downward lighting of the DORIS is high-contrast in 4,000K, neutral white. The right-beam lenses, which direct the efficient light onto the white stripes of the crossing, were previously determined by the lighting planning department, because no two pedestrian crossings are the same. DORIS is available in several light colors from amber 1,800K to cold white 5,700K, as well as in different lighting intensities and with versatile mounting material. For DORIS, individual adjustments are no problem. DORIS’ BEST LIGHT QUALITY FOR WORRY-FREE PARTICIPATION IN TRAFFIC.
