CLEVER, NEEDS-BASED LIGHTING FOR A RESIDENTIAL ESTATE

In the south of Luxembourg, in Sassenheim, a modern residential estate was developed on an area of 5.7 hectares, comprising a total of 93 single-family houses and 90 apartments. Various luminaire types — ALEX, STELLA, KATJA, and ALFONS — were used for the illumination of the new estate paths and communal areas. To provide uniform and safe lighting over larger areas, STELLA L IV-15 light columns were installed. Along narrower pathways, ALEX bollard luminaires ensure adapted and energy-efficient lighting. In addition, our individually manufactured, vandalism-resistant, and illuminated KATJA handrails made of stainless steel were installed at staircase access points, enhancing both safety and aesthetic appeal. On the estate’s roads, ALFONS luminaires with Zhaga interfaces and CLEVER LIGHT HUBS are used, enabling intelligent, needs-based control of the lighting at all times. By combining these various lighting solutions, the entire estate benefits from application-oriented, aesthetic, and sustainable illumination — perfectly tailored to the needs of the residents and their environment.
