LIGHTING FOR THE LAGOVIDA HOLIDAY RESORT
On the southern shore of Lake Störmthal, around twelve kilometers southeast of Leipzig, lies the holiday resort Lagovida – a place where water, nature, and architecture blend harmoniously together. The resort includes a hotel, restaurant, holiday homes, and a sheltered marina. Directly along the lakeshore, paths, squares, and open spaces create an inviting atmosphere for guests and visitors alike. For the outdoor lighting, our LILLI I light column and the NORA VI empty housing were used. The LILLI I was specially developed for the resort’s access roads and outdoor areas. Its design echoes the form of a gently curved blade of grass – a homage to the surrounding natural landscape. It is available in two versions: a smaller luminaire with one dewdrop and a larger version with two dewdrops. These droplet shapes serve not only as design elements but also as impact-resistant PMMA covers for the warm white light (3000 K). The directed, asymmetrical wide-beam light provides standard-compliant illumination of paths and access roads – glare-free, energy-efficient, and atmospheric at the same time. The NORA VI complements the lighting system functionally as an elegant technical housing. A camera has been discreetly integrated into the luminaire head to provide subtle video surveillance of the parking areas and main pathways – ensuring additional safety in the resort without disrupting the design’s visual clarity. With their clear design language, robust materials, and atmospheric lighting effect, our luminaires blend harmoniously into the resort’s modern, nature-inspired landscape – aesthetic, efficient, and durable.
