ANDREW MAKES STRAUBING STATION SAFER
Straubing, a city in Lower Bavaria east of Regensburg, has undergone a comprehensive modernization of its train station after many years of planning. The upgrade has made the station fully accessible and significantly improved the infrastructure for all travelers – whether by bike, wheelchair, stroller, or on foot. A key element in creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the sense of security is the new, well-designed lighting. Our wall-mounted and pole-mounted luminaire Andrew I/1 T was installed, featuring warm white light (3,000 K) and an integrated Zhaga socket, mounted on a conical pole in matching luminaire color. Its clean, functional design – reminiscent of our popular STELLA bollard – blends seamlessly into the modern station environment while meeting demanding technical requirements.
