BUNTSOCKENPARK WITH PETRA, LOTTA, ALFONS AND KORA

In 1905, the successful entrepreneur Görner expands and builds a new, modern hosiery factory in Thalheim. In 1948, the hosiery factory was expropriated and transferred to the state-owned company VEB Strumpfwerk 3 Tannen. Privatized after reunification, TSF GmbH Thalheimer Strumpffabrik finally went bankrupt in 2006. Over the years, the empty factory site became a wasteland. Now a green space and parks have been created for local recreation in the city. The project received 90% funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The shrubs bloom beautifully in the listed former factory garden. The park is popular, also for events. The large bollard with integrated Schuko and power sockets provides the necessary electricity. At night, the bollard pleasantly illuminates the area. The path is illuminated by the narrow-beam ALFONS luminaire. The small LOTTA charging station on the lamp post is an innovative way of charging electric bicycles. The KORA columns also illuminate the area for comfort and safety. They rise up like the chimneys and are reminiscent of the factory site that once stood here. INTELLIGENT INVESTMENTS WITH PETRA, LOTTA, ALFONS AND KORA
