LANTERN PARKING FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES

Lantern parking makes it possible to respond individually to the grown structures of the local conditions and the requirements of the operator. The existing pole can be used and the slim, small charging stations fit perfectly into the cityscape. 

When using the classic lantern parking, the existing cables of the street light is used. No additional cables need to be laid. The wires are divided so that the luminaire can give light at night, e.g. via a twilight sensor, but the charging station can work at any time.

There are two options when using the cables of the street lights:
Either the 1-phase operation, then limited to 3.7 kW or the 3-phase operation, then limited according to the system parameters, where a twilight sensor is needed to switch the luminaire on and off. For locations where the cars can charge longer, e.g. at work, at the indoor swimming pool or in the street at home, this is a very good and simple solution. The pole must be prepared for the charging station. The installation effort is small.

In the innovative lantern parking, an additional cable for the charging station is installed in addition to the existing luminaire cable. The existing cable continues to give the luminaire power at night. The new cable ensures the permanent operation of the charging station at any times. The charging station is programmed for a 3-phase operation, up to 2x 22 kW (32 A).

BENEFITS OF THE CHARGING STATIONS

SMART CHARGING: Intelligent power distribution between the two charging points using intelligent load management for automatic power adjustment, which automatically distributes the free charging capacity to the charging points in use. Therefore electric cars can optimal use the available power up to 2 x 22 kW at any time.

SMART GRID: Reduction of the Back-Office costs due to an intelligent master-slave-grid between the charging stations. 1 power supply, 1 data cable for the communication between the charging stations. SIM data card necessary to communicate with the Back-Office. The Master controls the set connection values. Determination of the electricity available for the maximum numbers of charges. HOW IT WORKS

SMART CHARGING
The charging station dynamically distributes the available 22 kW of power between two charging points without the need to predefine the connected load—for example, supplying 3.7 kW to an Ampera on the left and 18.3 kW to a Tesla on the right—in contrast to fixed systems that split the power equally (e.g., 11 kW each), even when one vehicle, like the Ampera, only requires a fraction of that capacity.

SMART GRID
Several charging stations are connected to each other using a single power supply, with the available power intelligently distributed across all charging points. A master-slave grid is established, where the stations communicate via a data cable. The master unit manages the system and transmits all relevant data to the back office using a SIM card. The monthly costs for the slave charging stations are three times lower than those for a master unit with access and billing under the PROFESSIONAL package.

BACK OFFICE
On request, a back office of your choice can be connected via OCPP, while the standard solution provided is the LMS back office. This enables cost-effective operation of the charging station and ensures continuous online access to all data through your personal account. Additionally, an invoice or credit note is automatically generated every month.

 

THE TESKA CHARGING STATION FOR UP TO 2 E-CARS 
COMPLIANCE WITH STANDARDS

The robust charging stations were specially developed for public spaces. According to IEC 61851-1, they are equipped with a mode 3 charging system and a plug system according to VDE-AR-E 2623-2-2, which ensures quick and safe charging. The charging stations comply with the EU directive 2014/35 / EU regarding the harmonisation of legal regulations for electrical equipment for use within certain voltage limits.
