OLD BECOMES NEW
Camburg is a district of the town of Dornburg-Camburg in Thuringia. The town is characterized by a distinctive and diverse club culture. Camburg is also converting to LED. Due to its proximity to the Saale river and thus to protect insects, the town wanted to retain its well-represented sodium vapor light in terms of color rendering. There was a choice between 1,800K, an amber-colored, very warm white light color, and 2,200K, the slightly cooler but still very warm white color temperature. The decision was made in favor of the 2,200K because it was more efficient in terms of lumens per watt and was only 200K more than the sodium vapor lamp. The luminaire that was used was also specially manufactured for Camburg. The old luminaires are no longer produced, but the shape and appearance should remain. LEIPZIGER LEUCHTEN produced the solution: a luminaire combination of GUSTAV and CLARA. The ERIK luminaire was born. The relief came after installation. "We did everything right." ERIK fits perfectly into the cityscape and with the other luminaires. The 2,200K LED in the ERIK luminaire with the slatted strips is neither too warm nor too cool. ERIK PROTECTS NATURE AND DELIGHTS PEOPLE.
