INTELLIGENT LIGHTING: HOW ZUNZGEN IS EMBRACING THE FUTURE

The small municipality of Zunzgen, nestled among the gentle hills of the Jura Mountains in northern Switzerland, is now illuminated by our ROMY I luminaires. In keeping with heritage preservation requirements, the existing mast and bracket were retained. ROMY I incorporates innovative technology while seamlessly complementing traditional lighting design. What appears as a black dot on the underside of the luminaire is a Zhaga socket. This is a standardised interface for LED luminaires that supports hubs for integrating intelligent lighting controls – similar to a USB port, but for street lights. This allows our products to be easily adapted to site-specific requirements: motion sensors and dimming times can be set by weekday and time, or sensors for weather or traffic monitoring, particulate matter detection, or emergency modules can be added without having to replace the entire luminaire. A SUSTAINABLE, FUTURE-PROOF SOLUTION
